About the Role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen security architecture across modern cloud and infrastructure environments. You will work on protecting large-scale distributed systems, ensuring secure design, threat detection, and proactive risk mitigation across cloud platforms and enterprise infrastructure.

This role is ideal for engineers who combine hands-on technical security expertise with a strong understanding of modern cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Develop and maintain identity and access management (IAM) strategies
• Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, threats, and anomalous activity
• Support security incident response and forensic investigations
• Implement DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments for new systems
• Work closely with engineering and IT teams to ensure secure architecture

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or infrastructure security
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP security frameworks
• Experience with IAM, encryption, key management, and zero-trust principles
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms
• Understanding of network security and secure system architecture
• Experience with security automation and scripting (Python/Bash)

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Security Specialty
• Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, NIS2)
• Experience working in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, SaaS)
