Role
Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer
Location
Hybrid, Lisbon OR Porto, Portugal
Required Skills
3–5 years of experience as a technical data specialist (ML Engineer, Data Engineer, or Data Scientist)
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks in production environments
Proven experience deploying analytics and GenAI models into production
Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark
Experience with SQL and/or PySpark for data processing and analysis
Solid knowledge of Python libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, and mlflow
Experience with Azure Machine Learning (AzureML), particularly for GenAI use cases
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines using Airflow and/or Databricks Pipelines
Strong understanding of DevOps and MLOps practices
Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (preferably using Azure DevOps)
Experience working across the full development lifecycle, from development to production
Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong team player with an analytical, pragmatic, and entrepreneurial mindset
