Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing the Company’s IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and helpdesk operations. The role ensures reliable technology services across all companies within the group, leads IT projects, and implements modern technology solutions aligned with business needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the Company’s business strategy.
- Plan and manage technology infrastructure, platforms, and systems across the group.
- Support business units in developing applications, platforms, and technology frameworks.
- Develop IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, including cloud solutions.
- Ensure IT systems comply with regulations and industry standards.
- Communicate IT strategies, performance, and projects to business stakeholders.
- Implement group-wide IT change management processes.
Operations Management
- Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and operation of IT infrastructure and networks.
- Manage data centers, systems, and network infrastructure.
- Maintain IT asset management and documentation.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analysis for critical systems.
- Manage and monitor IT service performance, uptime, and system availability.
- Lead incident management and resolve system outages or performance issues.
- Ensure systems are regularly updated with security patches and firmware upgrades.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage the IT operations team across the Company.
- Assign projects, manage workloads, and monitor team performance.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor IT staff.
- Promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
- Ensure the team meets operational targets and service level agreements.
Budget, Vendors & Contracts
- Develop and manage IT budgets for shared technology operations.
- Participate in procurement, tendering, and vendor selection processes.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with IT vendors and service providers.
- Ensure vendors meet agreed service level agreements.
Infrastructure & Innovation
- Maintain and expand technology infrastructure to support business growth.
- Ensure IT systems are scalable, reliable, and secure across all companies in the group.
- Explore new technologies and drive innovation within the Company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or Telecommunications.
- Professional IT certifications are preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 12 years of experience in IT operations.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role with budget responsibility.
- Experience in transport or logistics industry is preferred.
