Monthly salary: $2,000 - $3,000 USD

As a Short-Term Senior Brand Identity Designer, your project is the complete visual overhaul of our partner's brand.

The Mission:

In this role, you will lead the complete visual transformation of our partner's brand, which serves as the foundation of their B2B business and reflects core values of reliability, precision, and craftsmanship. Success requires developing a cohesive visual language that translates seamlessly from physical materials, such as wood samples, to refined and modern digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy & Discovery: Lead the discovery process to identify the core soul of the brand, including audience segmentation such as traditional framers vs. modern gallery owners.
  • Visual Identity System: Design a complete brand kit including primary and secondary logos, a simplified icon set for favicons and mobile UI, and a robust typography system.
  • Color Architecture: Develop a palette that works for both industrial printing, including packaging, truck wraps, and invoices, and high-accessibility digital interfaces.
  • Asset Production: Deliver a full library of assets in developer-friendly formats such as SVG and high-quality WebP, and a concise Brand Bible for future scaling.
  • UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with their engineering team to ensure the brand system integrates seamlessly with their new Nuxt.js storefront.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in brand, graphic, or visual design (agency or in-house).
  • Portfolio of Systems: You must show evidence of building entire brand identities from the ground up, not just standalone logos. We want to see how you handle typography, spacing, and brand application across multiple media.
  • B2B Experience: Experience working with e-commerce, industrial, manufacturing, or supply chain brands is a major plus. You should know how to make technical industries look sophisticated.
  • Tech-Forward Workflow: You are comfortable working in Figma and understand the constraints of modern web development, such as flexbox-friendly logos and scalable vector weights.
  • Communication: C1/C2 English proficiency is required. You must be able to articulate the why behind your design decisions.

Work Schedule: Ability to work within a 3-hour window of Pacific Standard Time PST. 40 hours per week.

Duration:

  • Initial 6-8 week project with the potential for a second project extension to include a refresh of our consumer-facing e-commerce arm.

Benefits:

  • A fully remote position with a structured schedule that supports work-life balance.
  • The opportunity to lead the brand transformation of a legacy company undergoing a modern digital evolution.
  • Two weeks of paid vacation per year.
  • 10 paid days for local holidays.

*Please note our partner is only looking for full-time dedicated team members who are eager to fully integrate within their team.
