We’re opening a senior level designer roles across two tracks: a brand-new title and our live mobile game EMERGENCY HQ.

We’re looking for a Senior Level Designer who brings senior-level craft, ownership mentality and the potential to grow into a lead role — someone who will raise the quality bar, mentor colleagues, and drive content that performs for players.

The role

As a Senior Level Designer you will design, implement and polish high-quality game levels and missions. You are responsible for various content and feature updates with the aim of taking the experience to the next level.

Your impact and responsibilities

Level execution & ownership

  • Create game missions with the aim of improving quality in various areas (visual appearance, staging, gameplay challenges) with each content update in order to create refreshing and varied content.
  • Take ownership of the entire content and feature production (define vision, plan and coordinate content production) and ensure timely delivery for every update cycle.
  • Drive gameplay balancing, finetuning to maximize retention, engagement and fun on mobile.

Collaboration & communication

  • Work closely with game designers, artists, programmers and live-ops to integrate mechanics, assets and KPIs.
  • Contribute to improving team workflows, tooling and documentation to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Present clear design intent, document decisions and escalate technical/production constraints when needed.

Mentorship & team impact

  • Mentor junior and mid-level designers, give constructive reviews, and help build a culture of learning and high standards.
  • Act as a senior voice for level design in cross-department planning and reviews.

Industry awareness

  • Keep up with mobile F2P and live-service trends, and bring new ideas and techniques that improve player experience.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of professional level design experience, with demonstrable shipped work on various titles.
  • Experience with live-ops cycles and content pipelines for frequent updates.
  • Strong Unity Engine experience — comfortable building scenes, placing gameplay objects and working with level scripting/visual scripting or basic code integrations.
  • Lead by example — experience mentoring others and providing actionable feedback.
  • A skilled communicator who can convey design intentions to the level design team and other departments.
  • Clear communication in English; German is a plus.

Nice to have.

  • Understanding of mobile constraints and optimization (performance, session length, device variety).
  • Technical design knowledge to improve tools and In-Engine workflows
  • Experience owning cross-disciplinary features or coordinating multi-team deliveries.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary
  • 28+ vacation days, flexible working hours, learning and conference budget
  • Modern hardware and tools; choice of Mac/PC.
  • Berlin-based studio with hybrid work option
  • Opportunities to work on live, KPI-driven content and influence core product decisions.
