Accounts Assistant
Our client a leading educational body are hiring an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is initially being offered on a contract basis and is to start asap.
Key Duties
- Prepare journal adjustments and assist with financial reporting
- Reconcile bank accounts and check project budgets
- Maintain and archive project account files
- Issue research invoices in line with funder requirements
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation
- Allocate income correctly to research accounts
- Handle queries from researchers and office visitors
- Generate supplier orders using electronic procurement
Requirements
- 1–2 years ‘Finance experience
- Strong organisational, communication, and numerical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel,
