Our client is one of Ireland's leading providers of professional security guarding services, trusted by a large and diverse client base including state and semi-state organisations, multinationals, corporate offices and property management companies.
Your new role
We are seeking a Security Operations Manager to oversee and enhance their day-to-day delivery of guarding services in the Dublin office. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in the security guarding sector and understands the operational, regulatory and people-management demands of the industry.
Responsibilities will be;
Operational Leadership
Lead and manage our security division.
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality guarding services across all client locations.
Maintain full compliance with all licencing requirements, Health & Safety standards and internal operating procedures.
People Management
Drive performance through coaching, mentoring, structured feedback and ongoing development.
Manage recruitment, onboarding and training of new security personnel.
Conduct site audits, welfare visits and performance assessments to ensure continuous improvement and staff engagement.
Client & Service Management
Act as primary operational contact for clients, building strong relationships based on reliability, responsiveness and service excellence.
Address client needs proactively, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
Support contract mobilisation, scheduling, resource allocation and adherence to SLAs.
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 5 years' operational leadership experience in the security guarding industry
Strong understanding of rostering, site coverage, incident response and regulatory compliance in a security environment.
Proven ability to lead, motivate and support frontline officers.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Commercial awareness with the ability to balance service quality and cost efficiencies.
Self-driven, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment.
