We are hiring for one of our clients seeking a Scientific Visualization Engineer with deep expertise in ParaView to support large-scale computational research initiatives.
This role focuses on transforming complex simulation datasets into high-quality, publication-ready visualizations that support scientific analysis, interpretation, and communication.
Role Overview
You will design and implement advanced visualization pipelines to process and interpret large-scale simulation data (CFD, FEM, and related domains). The position requires strong experience with ParaView scripting, parallel processing, and high-performance computing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop advanced visualization workflows using ParaView
- Process and visualize large-scale CFD and FEM datasets
- Build custom filters and automation scripts using Python and ParaView macros
- Apply parallel processing techniques for high-performance rendering
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to translate analytical requirements into visual outputs
- Produce publication-quality scientific visualizations
- Document workflows to ensure reproducibility and knowledge transfer
- Stay current with developments in scientific visualization tools and techniques
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in ParaView and scientific visualization pipelines
- Strong Python scripting skills for automation and customization
- Experience working with large-scale simulation data (CFD, FEM, multiphysics, or similar)
- Familiarity with HPC or distributed computing environments
- Ability to generate clear, accurate, and technically rigorous visual outputs
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating ParaView with custom scientific software stacks
- Background in scientific computing or numerical methods
- Familiarity with open-source visualization ecosystems
- Experience contributing to research publications or technical reports
