I'm seeking a motivated Junior Cyber Security Analyst to join a growing Security Operations Center (SOC) team supporting clients across North Carolina. As part of a 24/7 Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) environment, you will monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise security tools and real-world incident response.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Monitor and triage security alerts from SIEM, EDR, firewall, and other security platforms
- Escalate validated incidents and assist with incident response activities
- Document findings, investigations, and remediation steps clearly and accurately
- Participate in 24/7 shift rotations (including nights/weekends as scheduled)
- Foundational knowledge of networking, security principles, and threat detection
- Experience with tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection, or ticketing systems preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Security+ or other entry-level certification preferred
This opportunity is available on a contract-to-hire basis and will require some on-site availability.
