We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer. In this role, you will design, implement, and test high-quality embedded C++ software, working closely with product and design teams to translate customer and product requirements into robust platform capabilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate embedded V2X software and supporting development tools.
- Implement high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices for embedded systems.
- Collaborate with product management and design teams to translate user needs and product requirements into scalable platform capabilities.
- Contribute to system design discussions, ensuring robust, efficient, and extensible solutions.
- A technical degree, preferably a Master’s, in systems engineering, software architecture, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development and Linux based applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in C and C++ is required; knowledge of IBM Rational Rhapsody is a plus.
- Familiarity with application interfaces for communication protocols, particularly GNSS, 3G/4G, and LWM2M, is desirable.
- Proven experience in developing testable code, implementing automated unit tests, and working with automated test environments.
- A proactive approach, strong teamwork skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GIT, Jenkins, and SVN is advantageous, as is familiarity with Kibana and Grafana.
- Business-fluent English is essential; German language skills are an asset.
