Build Side
As Scrum Master, you will be responsible for serving Scrum Teams, Product Owners, and the organisation to enable Agile transformation and effective delivery of Proton Therapy Systems:
- Coach Scrum Team members on self-management and cross-functionality
- Ensure Scrum events happen and are effective, purposeful, and timeboxed
- Help teams make work transparent: Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Definition of Done, and relevant metrics
- Facilitate healthy conflict, alignment, and decision-making
- Support teams in delivering a “Done” Increment each Sprint and in reducing waste
- Coach Product Owners in effective Product Backlog management, outcome-oriented Product Goals, and stakeholder collaboration
- Promote evidence-based product decisions using feedback loops, user insights, and experimentation
- Lead, train, and coach the organisation in Scrum adoption and Agile mindset
- Help remove impediments beyond the team’s control and enable structural improvements
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to scale Scrum and support multiple teams on the same product
- Improve organisational flow by addressing systemic bottlenecks (handoffs, unclear ownership, overloaded decision paths, uneven work intake)
- Hands-on experience as a Scrum Master for one or more Scrum Teams in a product environment
- Experience with Agile for Hardware is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Lean/Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
- Proven facilitation skills: events, workshops, conflict navigation, group decision-making
- Experience supporting multiple teams and cross-team collaboration in complex environments
- Systems thinking and ability to work with leaders to remove organisational impediments
- Comfortable with complementary practices: flow/Lean, Kanban concepts, XP engineering practices awareness
- Agile coaching for teams and leaders
- Scrum events facilitation and conflict management
- Product Backlog and outcome-oriented product goals management
- Scaling Scrum across multiple teams
- Continuous improvement and transparency promotion
- Coaching stance: develop people and teams rather than only “run Scrum ceremonies”
- Hands-on, practical approach while promoting self-management
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Collaborative and proactive in solving organisational challenges
