Technical Support Engineer (Microsoft stack) | Permanent | Paris, France
- Location: Paris
- Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite per week
- On-Call: 1 week in 6 (including weekend cover)
- Salary: €48,000 – €62,000
- Position: Permanent
Job Summary:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading consultancy for a Technical Support Engineer to be the sole IT support presence in their Paris office (55 users) while supporting tickets across the wider EMEA region. This is a hands-on role requiring strong Microsoft stack expertise, particularly Active Directory and Azure, along with ServiceNow experience. The successful candidate must be fluent in French and possess excellent business-level English, with the confidence to support senior stakeholders in a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first- and second-line IT support to the Paris office and assist EMEA users remotely
- Log, manage and resolve incidents via ServiceNow, ensuring high service standards
- Administer and support Active Directory and Azure environments
- Configure, deploy and troubleshoot Windows laptops, M365 applications and mobile devices
- Support AV/meeting room technology and office infrastructure
- Take ownership of local IT operations and collaborate with global IT teams
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Fluent French speaker with strong, well-spoken business English
- 3+ years’ IT support experience in a professional services environment (50+ users)
- Strong Active Directory and Microsoft 365 expertise; Azure experience essential
- Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow ticketing system
- Able to work independently as the sole on-site IT support while managing regional tickets
