We’re looking for an IT Infrastructure Solution Engineer - System Administrator to join us at Telia.
I’m Audrius Sabalys, Head of Core Service Delivery team, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us! This role is ideal for a System Specialist, System Engineer, or Infrastructure Administrator ready to transition into solution design and assume broader technical ownership.
What you’ll do:
You will start by contributing to infrastructure delivery projects, building a strong understanding of our platforms, standards, tools, and ways of working. Over time, you will expand into infrastructure solution design with guidance and mentoring from experienced colleagues.

Monthly salary range for this position 3600 – 5400 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.

What you’ll do:
You will start by contributing to infrastructure delivery projects, building a strong understanding of our platforms, standards, tools, and ways of working. Over time, you will expand into infrastructure solution design with guidance and mentoring from experienced colleagues.
- Participate in infrastructure delivery projects: installation, configuration, expansion and decommissioning;
- Collaborate closely with architects, application teams and delivery teams to ensure smooth delivery;
- Support investment proposals, cost estimations, and technical evaluations;
- Design end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions based on business and application needs, while adapting them to our existing strategy and future target architecture;
- Translate requirements into high-level and low-level infrastructure designs;
- Contribute to continuous improvement of IT infrastructure services, standard building blocks, and ways of working.

- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with server deliveries;
- Experience in IT infrastructure lifecycle management (LCM), including maintenance and upgrades;
- Strong knowledge of Linux or Windows administration and IP networking;
- Background in IT infrastructure (cloud, virtualization, datacenters, storage, OS);
- Experience with VMware and Kubernetes;
- Understanding of SRE principles: networks, firewalls, monitoring and backup solutions;
- Ability to work across complex stakeholder landscapes;
- Excellent in spoken and written English;
- Bonus points for: experience with IaC (Terraform), container orchestration; understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
