What You’ll Do:


  • Debt compliance on existing financings
  • Executing & leading financings, from market sounding to financial closing
  • Work closely with the M&A, Business Development, EPC and Commercial teams
  • Coordinating internal/external lawyers in documentation drafting, review, negotiations and execution
  • Working with advisors (technical, insurance, commercial, tax, audit), consolidating and challenging their input for financial models and transaction documentation
  • Coordinate advisors during due diligence processes, analyzing and challenging key findings
  • Coordinate internal deal team
  • Coordinate internal review of terms sheet and financing documentation, involve relevant internal parties
  • Have ownership of the financing process, including transaction budget, timeline and documentation
  • Build relationships with key financing parties (lenders, advisors, etc.)
  • Identify & originate new sources and instruments for debt funding


Job Requirements:

  • MSc or BSc in Economics or Finance from a top-tier university with a track record of excellent academic performance
  • At least 4-years experience in energy and at least 2 years experience in renewable energy financing/M&A/valuation/advisory/project finance (investment fund, bank, other financial institution, consultancy) is required.
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy economics and business drivers
  • Experience with syndication financing processes is an advantage, but not required
  • Organized and with process management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage changing tasks
  • Proficiency in using Excel (financial modelling skills are a must), Word and Power-Point
  • Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of German or CEE languages (e.g. Bulgarian, Czech, Romanian, etc.) would be advantageous
