OBSS is looking for an iOS Architect to lead multiple large-scale projects, design robust software architectures, and explore new technologies that meet evolving business needs. In this role, you will collaborate with technical and business teams to design, implement, and optimize complex integrated systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze existing mobile banking applications and evaluate their architecture, performance, scalability, and security to provide strategic recommendations to clients.
• Design and define scalable, secure, and high-performance architecture for enterprise-level iOS mobile banking applications.
• Lead architectural decisions and establish best practices for iOS development within banking and financial technology environments.
• Guide engineering teams on architecture patterns, development standards, and technology frameworks for building robust mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with backend, security, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration with banking systems and APIs.
• Evaluate existing banking applications and provide recommendations for improvement, modernization, or architectural transformation.
• Define and manage the mobile application lifecycle, including versioning strategies, App Store submission processes, and post-release monitoring and improvements.
• Ensure mobile applications comply with banking security standards, performance expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide architectural leadership during project planning, technical decision-making, and solution design processes.

Qualifications / Technical Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mobile application development, including strong experience in mobile banking applications.
• 10+ years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, with a deep understanding of banking systems and infrastructure.
• Proven experience working with different banking infrastructures and financial technology environments.
• Deep expertise in iOS development technologies such as Swift, Objective-C, iOS SDK, and Apple ecosystem frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of modern iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modular architectures.
• Experience in designing large-scale, secure, and high-performance mobile banking solutions.
• Strong understanding of mobile application lifecycle management including version management, App Store release processes, and post-release operations.
• Experience analyzing existing mobile applications and providing architectural guidance to stakeholders and clients.
• Familiarity with mobile security best practices for financial applications (secure authentication, encryption, secure data storage, etc.).
• Experience integrating mobile applications with APIs, backend services, and microservice-based architectures.
