The Role:
We are now looking for a Senior iOS developer who wants to help build next-generation apps and is keen to explore new platforms like VisionPro. With the client, you will work broadly, with project deliveries, maintenance, and experimentation in close collaboration with designers, product people, and backend developers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and improve native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate ideas into high-quality implementations.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to best practices for mobile development.
- Work on a mix of new development and maintenance, depending on project needs and market demand.
- Provide technical guidance, support and mentorship to other developers.
- Engage with clients as a trusted app expert: clarifying needs, assessing feasibility, and contributing to technical direction.
- Explore modern Apple technologies, including opportunities within VisionOS and spatial computing when relevant.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture built on curiosity, feedback and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
Must-Have skills:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with native iOS development.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, with solid understanding of common architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.)
- Experience with secure, accessible, and privacy-conscious mobile development for eg biometric authentication, secure communication protocol
- Ability to discuss and evaluate solutions across disciplines design, product, backend.
- Experience working in iterative processes and with modern mobilefirst APIs.
- Curiosity about new technologies, including AI tools and new Apple platforms.
- Experience delivering at least one mobile application for the public sector
- Has experience with high performance application
- Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English.
Good-to-Have:
- Experience with Firebase (Auth, Firestore/Realtime DB, Cloud Messaging)
- Understanding of app performance optimization and accessibility best practices
- Exposure to cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native)
- Basic knowledge of Android or backend development
- Participation in architectural discussions and scalable app design
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
