Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in enterprise network infrastructure, next-generation firewalls, and proxy security solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and practical experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks security platforms. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining enterprise-level network environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
• Implement VLANs, NAT, QoS, and IP addressing schemes.
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
• Deploy and administer Palo Alto Networks NGFW solutions.
• Configure security policies, NAT policies, VPNs (IPSec & SSL VPN).
• Implement IDS/IPS, Anti-virus, Web Filtering, and Application Control.
• Perform firewall rule audits and policy optimization.
• Troubleshoot firewall-related connectivity and performance issues.
• Configure and manage enterprise proxy solutions (e.g., Secure Web Gateway).
• Implement URL filtering, SSL inspection, and content filtering.
• Monitor proxy logs and generate security reports.
• Integrate proxy solutions with directory services (e.g., Active Directory).
• Configure site-to-site and client VPNs.
• Troubleshoot VPN connectivity issues.
• Implement secure remote access solutions.
• Monitor network devices using NMS tools.
• Analyze logs and respond to security incidents.
• Work with SOC teams for threat mitigation.
• Perform root cause analysis for outages and breaches.
• Maintain detailed network diagrams and documentation.
• Create SOPs for firewall and proxy configurations.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and company policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Required to have valid CCNA certification.
• Candidate should have 3–7 years of hands-on experience in network security engineering.
• Strong experience with Fortinet, FortiGate Firewalls,Palo Alto NGFW, Proxy/Web Security solutions
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Routing & Switching concepts and VPN technologies
• Network security best practices
