Role Purpose
The Digital Product Group Manager (DPG Manager) owns the full lifecycle of Data and AI platform Products—setting strategy, defining the vision, aligning stakeholders, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring measurable business value delivery. You serve as the strategic leader who oversees the customer-value generated by balancing investments, customer needs, business objectives, and IT Policy Framework standards.

The team you’ll join
PMI’s Data and AI Platform is a global, product‑led team that delivers fully managed Data and AI platform capabilities to markets and functions. The team operates enterprise grade offerings through product teams, providing below capabilities with built‑in security, resiliency, observability, and cost effectiveness;
- Core self‑service capabilities in enterprise data warehouse (ingestion, transformation, serving, storage/backup/restore, cost observability) including orchestration/scheduling, data sharing, and lineage/quality
- Democratized Advanced Analytics/ML/AI through managed components such as GenAI, Agentic AI and the Advanced Analytics stack
- Managed visualizations & BI for analytics with Power BI workspaces, data connections, adoption & engagement tracking, Row‑Level Security setup, and app publishing
- Centrally governed, managed Data Management services (Data Catalogue, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Enterprise Metadata & Data Fabric Management) and Enterprise data lake house
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- 7+ years product/platform leadership; 3+ years cloud scale data platforms; proven delivery of GenAI, BI, ingestion/ELT, orchestration, catalog/lineage, data quality & observability; depth in AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Matillion, DBT, Power BI, Atlan, CI CD, Terraform (or equivalents); strong governance & change leadership; SAFe POPM.
- Strong strategic and analytical capabilities
- Deep understanding of digital product management and customer‑centric design
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams in agile delivery environments
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and senior stakeholder management skills
- Technical awareness (architecture, NFRs, continuous delivery)
- Financial acumen for budget and cost management
- Leadership, coaching, and decision‑making abilities

Strategy & Vision
- Define the Product Group strategy, vision, roadmap, objectives, and KPIs.
- Ensure alignment to enterprise strategy, portfolio priorities, and capacity constraints
- Promote innovation, experimentation, and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Identify and coordinate implementation of customer engagement channels to ensure continuous engagement, feedback cycles, and design thinking practices across all products
- Own and prioritize the Product Group Backlog in collaboration with Product Group architect and Product Group Delivery Manager
- Translate strategy into initiatives and epics with clear value hypotheses and acceptance criteria with Product Owners
- Balance investments across features, enablers, technical debt, and risk
- Lead refinement, estimation, and readiness of cross product demands
- Support continuous delivery and ensure solutions meet customer expectations and NFRs aligned with IT Policy Framework
- Track business value realization, establish adoption playbooks, onboarding journeys, and success metrics for internal customers across domains & functions. Identify key investment areas and adjust product portfolio capabilities in alignment with Product Group Architect
- Collaborate with Product Group Delivery Manager to coordinate cross‑team delivery, integrated solutions, and operational readiness
- Provide direction, coaching, and performance management to Product Owners.
- Translate business priorities into clear expectations
- Promote continuous learning and empower Product Owners
- Navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions quickly
