AML/KYC Officer

WinMatch is supporting a growing financial company in Luxembourg in recruiting a KYC / AML Officer to join its Compliance & Risk team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and hands-on team in a dynamic financial environment. You will play a key role in client onboarding, monitoring, and regulatory compliance, contributing directly to the company’s AML/KYC framework.

KYC / AML Officer - Key Responsibilities:

• Manage or assist with onboarding new clients, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant; conduct due diligence (CDD/EDD) and review ownership structures to identify UBOs.
• Perform sanctions, PEP, adverse media, and reputational screening; assess AML/KYC risks and support implementation of risk mitigation measures.
• Conduct periodic KYC reviews, maintain accurate client files, and support continuous improvement of AML/KYC processes.
• Prepare audit and regulatory documentation, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and act as an escalation point for complex compliance matters.

KYC / AML Officer - Profile:

• At least 4 years of experience in KYC/AML roles within banking, corporate banking, or financial services in Luxembourg.
• Strong understanding of Luxembourg AML/CTF rules, CSSF requirements, and KYC standards.
• Proven experience conducting due diligence on corporates, funds, trusts, and complex ownership structures including UBO verification.
• Academic background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law, or related disciplines; professional certifications (CAMS, ICA, ACAMS) are an advantage.
• Fluent in English and French; additional EU languages are a plus.
