Are you a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in Microservices, Spring Boot, and Cloud (Azure)?

We’re looking for a Java API Developer to join an exciting project building scalable microservices and modern cloud-based applications.

📍 Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

🏢Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite / week)

📄Type: Contract

⏳ Experience: 8+ years

Work Authorization: Candidates must currently have valid work rights in Netherlands.

💻 Key Skills & Technologies

✔ Java 8+

✔ Spring / Spring Boot

✔ REST APIs, JSON

✔ Microservices Architecture

✔ React JS or Angular

✔ Azure (deployment experience)

✔ Git / Azure Repos / Bitbucket

✔ OAuth / JWT Authentication

✔ Messaging: Kafka / RabbitMQ / JMS

✔ Agile / Scrum delivery

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices architectures

• Convert monolithic applications to microservices

• Build and enhance Java APIs and backend services

• Implement secure authentication using OAuth/JWT

• Participate in architecture and design discussions

• Collaborate with Agile teams and deliver within SLA timelines

• Support cloud deployment on Azure

👥 Bonus if you have

✔ Experience designing complex microservices using design patterns

✔ Experience working with event-driven architecture or messaging queues

✔ Ability to mentor or lead development teams
