We are currently seeking multiple experienced Cloud DevOps Engineers to join a large-scale technology transformation program focused on modernising software delivery and cloud infrastructure.

These roles offer the opportunity to work within a modern engineering environment where automation, cloud-native architecture and DevOps best practices are central to the way platforms and services are delivered. You will contribute to building scalable, secure and reliable cloud infrastructure while improving software delivery pipelines and operational performance through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Champion DevSecOps and GitOps principles
• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure environments across platforms including AWS, Confluent and Azure
• Design and manage artefact build processes to support modern deployment approaches such as serverless and container-based architectures
• Manage container orchestration and serverless environments
• Build and implement monitoring and observability solutions to track platform performance and reliability
• Contribute to the development of internal DevOps standards and engineering practices

Skills and Experience

• Strong experience working with AWS cloud services, including VPC, serverless technologies, ECS and IAM
• Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Experience working within DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) environments, including CI/CD, observability, incident response and platform reliability
• Proven expertise implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including provisioning, state management and locking
• Scripting capability in Python, Bash or Java (Node.js considered advantageous)
• Advanced Git skills including branching strategies, pull requests and code reviews
• Strong understanding of modern development practices such as modularisation, reusable infrastructure patterns and configuration management
• Experience implementing secure coding practices and secrets management
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, CIDR, subnets, firewalls and load balancing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering team
• A strong belief in DevOps and GitOps principles, including shared ownership and accountability for systems

Desirable Experience

• AWS or Terraform certifications
• Experience with Kafka or Confluent
• Exposure to Azure and Active Directory
• Database platform experience including Oracle, DB2 or DynamoDB
• Exposure to AI/ML platforms, including AWS Bedrock
• Experience with graph databases such as Neo4J or data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake
• Experience working with Python-based data tooling or DBT

These roles will be offered as initial contract until December 2026 with multiple long term extension periods (up to 5 years).
