As a Business Data Analyst - Financial Regulatory Reporting, you play a key role in analyzing and implementing both business-driven and regulatory changes within financial reporting. You operate at the intersection of business, data, and technology, helping reporting teams improve their systems and processes while ensuring accurate and compliant reporting.

Your responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business and regulatory requirements and translate them into clear use cases and detailed data requirements.

  • Perform impact analyses and support the definition of solutions that meet business needs.

  • Act as the bridge between business and IT by translating requirements into functional analyses and data flow designs.

  • Contribute to data definitions, mappings, and the creation of data quality rules.

  • Create and document test cases and prepare the necessary test data.

  • Support business users during functional and user acceptance testing.

  • Coordinate the resolution of test defects and ensure a smooth transition to production.

  • Maintain process documentation and user manuals.

  • Continuously expand your expertise in financial reporting and data.

Your profile

  • Master's degree in (Business) Economics, Data, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or change delivery role (preferably within finance or banking).

  • Interest in banking products and financial regulatory reporting (e.g., Schema A, FINREP, Liquidity Reporting).

  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Cognos, Excel, and Power BI.

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
