Help us build the "brain" behind the next generation of smart home products. Henkel’s Riga Tech Hub is looking for a Junior Software Developer to support our IoT backend and integration ecosystem. You will work closely with our Senior Systems Engineer in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
Your mission is to support the development of the cloud backend that allows our devices to "talk" to the world. You will write code that processes data and ensures our mobile apps and hardware work in perfect harmony.
JUNIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Your Key Responsibilities
- Code Development: Write and maintain cloud backend services and APIs using Node.js or Python.
- Integration Support: Help test the connections between physical IoT devices and mobile applications.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate technical records of code changes and system updates.
- Collaboration: Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure reliable software releases.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Knowledge in Node.js or Python; familiarity with Git, RESTful APIs, and cloud principles.
- An ownership mindset, high attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.
- A strong desire to learn the end-to-end IoT ecosystem from senior mentors.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
