As the Senior Product Sports Specialist, you will be the strategic bridge between our Product, Trading, and Marketing departments. Your mission is to translate complex sports betting features—from Bet Builders and Early Payouts to Live Streaming—into compelling, market-resonant value propositions. You will own the "Sportsbook" narrative, driving player acquisition and retention through data-driven campaigns that celebrate the unique passion of the Romanian sports fan.
Key Responsibilities1. Product Positioning & GTM Strategy
- Lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for all Sportsbook-related features (e.g., new betting markets, cash-out enhancements, or loyalty programs).
- Develop clear, localized messaging that differentiates our sports offering from competitors like Superbet, Betano, and Casa Pariurilor.
- Create 360-degree campaign frameworks for major sporting events (Superliga, UEFA Champions League, Euro/World Cup, Grand Slams).
2. Customer Insight & Segmentation
- Analyze player behavior data to identify high-value segments and tailor sports promotions to specific user archetypes (e.g., the "Weekend Acca" bettor vs. the "VIP High Roller").
- Conduct regular competitive benchmarking of the Romanian market to ensure our "Odds" and "Product UX" narratives remain superior.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Trading Team to highlight "Special Boosts" or "Market Exclusives" in marketing creative.
- Partner with the CRM Team to ensure the sports product roadmap is aligned with automated player journeys and retention hooks.
- Coordinate with the Brand & Content Team to ensure sports legends or influencers are utilized effectively within product storytelling.
4. Regulatory & Compliance Ownership
- Ensure all product marketing assets strictly adhere to ONJN (National Gambling Office) regulations and Romanian advertising laws (e.g., bonus display rules, minor protection signs).
- Stay ahead of 2026 legislative shifts regarding sports sponsorship and digital marketing limits in Romania.
Requirements
- Experience: 4+ years in Marketing, with at least 2 years specifically in the iGaming/Sports Betting industry.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Romanian sports landscape (Superliga, Romanian Cup) and local bettor psychology.
- Analytical and reporting Skills: Proficient in using data tools (Tableau, Google Analytics, or internal SQL dashboards) to measure campaign ROI and product adoption.
- Communication: Native-level Romanian and professional fluency in English. Ability to simplify technical "betting jargon" into exciting consumer copy.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of managing large-scale marketing budgets and delivering measurable growth in GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with third-party sportsbook providers.
- A strong personal interest in sports and a deep understanding of betting mechanics (Handicaps, Asian Lines, etc.).
