DevOps Engineer
Location: United Kingdom (100% Remote)
Experience: 4–7 Years
Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the UK
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes.
- Implement containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Ensure high availability and scalability of applications and infrastructure.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Experience with Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
