Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure across the UK. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with network technologies, security, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN)
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Ensure network security and compliance with best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams for system integration and upgrades
- Perform network upgrades, patches, and documentation
- Support cloud networking (AWS / Azure / GCP environments)
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF)
- Hands-on experience with routers and switches (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
- Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point)
- Knowledge of VPNs, VLANs, and network segmentation
- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Exposure to SD-WAN technologies
Eligibility:
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
- Willingness to work in UK time zone
