SAP Project Manager:


  • Recann Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
  • We are representing a leading IT Partner who is managing this critical transformation for their end customer (name currently under NDA).
  • We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Project Manager to lead a major ERP transition in Espoo.
  • This is a high-impact role overseeing the migration to SAP S/4HANA, requiring a blend of technical depth, business acumen, and robust stakeholder management.


Assignment Details:


  • Location: Espoo, FI (90% On-site / 10% Remote)
  • Assignment Period: 01 Apr 2026 – 01 Jul 2027 (Approx. 15 months)
  • Allocation: 80% – 100% (4–5 days per week)
  • Application Deadline: 13 Mar 2026


The Role:


As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end local delivery of the SAP S/4HANA solution. You will bridge the gap between local business requirements and group-level technical implementation, ensuring a seamless transition across four distinct project phases.


Project Phases & Responsibilities:


  1. Local Collection & Documentation (Months 1–2): Lead the documentation of current processes and business requirements through interviews, questionnaires, and detailed project planning.
  2. Joint Discovery Phase (Months 3–4): Collaborate with local and group teams to perform comprehensive GAP analysis and create detailed specifications of needs.
  3. Joint Project Build (Approx. 9 Months): Manage the local execution of the ERP build, ensuring technical solutions fulfill specific business requirements.
  4. Hypercare (Approx. 3 Months): Oversee the post-live support phase, ensuring issues are resolved and project documentation is finalized for closure.


Qualifications & Technical Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you must possess:


  • SAP Expertise: Deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
  • Project Leadership: Proven track record in managing complex ERP implementations, specifically within the Finnish market.
  • Process Analysis: Strong experience in Business Process Documentation and GAP Analysis.
  • Communication: Ability to manage pressure and expectations from diverse, multi-level stakeholders.
  • Language Proficiency: Business-level fluency in both Finnish and English is mandatory.
