Full Stack Java Engineer (React), Porto / Riga / Warsaw

We’re looking for experienced Full Stack Java Engineers to join a growing engineering team working on the development of large-scale, high-performance applications within a global enterprise environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex systems, collaborate with international teams, and contribute to the design and delivery of reliable, scalable digital solutions.

About the Role

As a Full Stack Java Engineer, you will be responsible for building and enhancing both backend services and front-end applications using modern technologies. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to design scalable systems and deliver high-quality software solutions.

You will play an active role in the full development lifecycle, from designing APIs and implementing backend services to ensuring performance, scalability, and code quality through testing and optimization.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React
• Designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Building scalable backend services and improving system performance
• Working with AWS infrastructure and cloud-based environments
• Implementing asynchronous or event-driven processing
• Managing concurrency and multithreading in backend services
• Identifying system bottlenecks and improving performance
• Writing unit and integration tests to maintain code quality
• Collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver business value

What We’re Looking For

• Professional experience building full-stack applications using Java and React
• Strong hands-on experience developing backend services with Spring Boot
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs
• Experience working with AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Practical experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases

Technical knowledge in areas such as:

• Asynchronous or event-driven processing
• Concurrency and multithreaded application design
• Backend performance tuning and optimization
• Experience creating reliable automated tests, including unit and integration tests
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Additional Details

📍 Location: Porto (Portugal), Riga (Latvia), or Warsaw (Poland)

🏢 Work model: Full-time office-based role, 5 days per week

📄 Contract type: 12-month B2B contract, with the possibility of extension

⏳ Availability: Ideally able to start within 1 month
