We specialize in middle and senior management recruitment in various sectors and countless job functions.
We are looking for a Project Manager for our client operating in the retail sector who can strongly manage marketplace operations (listing, inventory, pricing, campaigns, ads, and customer experience) while also improving UX with a focus on conversion and repeat purchases.
This role acts as a bridge between marketplace growth and website/app UX development, aligning teams around common goals and driving improvement projects end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Manage growth and operational projects across marketplace channels (e.g., Trendyol, Hepsiburada, Amazon, and others) end-to-end
- Establish and improve processes for product listing quality, content standards, visuals, titles, SEO, variant management, and category alignment
- Coordinate stock, pricing, order, and return workflows with OMS / ERP / WMS / logistics integrations (working with IT, operations, and finance teams)
- Plan and execute campaigns (discounts, coupons, bundles), manage marketplace advertising (sponsored products, etc.), and track performance
- On the UX side: map user journeys, identify friction points, and prioritize CRO and A/B testing opportunities
- Track weekly KPIs such as revenue, contribution margin, ad ROAS/ACOS, conversion rate, add-to-cart rate, return rate, cancellation rate, delivery SLA, and NPS/CSAT
- Manage product backlog, roadmap, and sprint/kanban processes; coordinate cross-team dependencies and ensure clear delivery timelines
- Drive improvements through a hypothesis → experiment → measurement → learning cycle
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
- Experience in e-commerce marketplace operations (preferably 3+ years) with project management experience
- Solid understanding of UX fundamentals: information architecture, user flows, heuristic evaluation, and conversion-focused thinking
- Data literacy: ability to interpret GA4, marketplace dashboard metrics, and reporting tools such as Looker Studio to make KPI-driven decisions
- Familiarity with integration and operational processes (ERP / OMS / WMS, logistics, returns, stock synchronization)
- Strong communication skills: ability to align cross-functional teams around shared goals with clear documentation and follow-up
- Fluent in English (for multi-country / supplier communication)
Nice to Have
- Experience in product management or marketplace growth and A/B testing culture
- Advanced SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, feed management (XML/CSV), or PIM systems
- Experience with Amazon (FBA / FBM) or cross-border marketplace operations
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Notion, Asana, Miro, or Figma
- Understanding of e-commerce financial metrics such as contribution margin, shipping cost impact, and promotion profitability
Success Metrics – First 90 Days
- Develop and execute an action plan for the top 5 biggest loss drivers in marketplaces, with measurable improvements (cancellations, returns, SLA performance)
- Launch at least two UX/CRO experiments (site/app or product listings) with measurable conversion impact
- Establish a weekly one-page Channel Performance Dashboard and a consistent operating rhythm (standups and weekly business reviews)
