As MAC’s Data & Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and leading our data strategy from data infrastructure to insight generation. You will manage a talented team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to turn data into real business value across our digital and physical ecosystem.
You will report directly to the CTO and work in close partnership with the Product and Growth teams to drive smarter decisions, improve member experience, and support MAC’s continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, grow, and mentor a cross-functional data team (data scientists, analysts, and engineers).
- Define MAC’s data strategy and architecture in alignment with the company’s long-term vision.
- Own the development, maintenance, and scalability of dashboards and reporting tools used across the organization (Power BI, Google Data Studio, or other relevant tools).
- Generate actionable insights to support product development, member retention, pricing strategies, campaign performance, and growth initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Growth teams to enable data-driven decision-making and experimentation.
- Ensure robust data infrastructure, pipelines, and warehousing in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Evaluate and optimize MAC’s data ecosystem, particularly leveraging Google Cloud or Azure, and make architectural decisions accordingly.
- Foster a culture of data literacy and evidence-based thinking throughout the organization.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, engineering, or science, with at least 2 years in a team lead or managerial role.
- Hands-on experience in managing and scaling dashboards and reporting systems.
- Solid command of SQL and data modeling; familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI and/or Data Studio.
- Proven experience working with Google Cloud or Azure, and the ability to shape data architecture and tools around them.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in digital product, subscription services, or tech-driven organizations is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Turkish.
