Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Operations Engineer to join our growing Technology team. This role plays a critical part in supporting day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems and services at our Fujairah office.
The ideal candidate is a technically skilled problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced digital banking environment.
What You'll Be Responsible For
IT Support & Operations
- Provide first and second-level IT support to employees at the Fujairah office.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating to senior engineers or vendors when required.
- Monitor IT systems, applications, and services to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Handle user access management, including onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Support daily operations of the bank’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and endpoint devices.
- Perform regular system health checks, software updates, and patch management.
- Assist in IT asset lifecycle management: procurement, inventory tracking, and retirement of devices.
- Ensure adherence to internal IT security policies and regulatory frameworks.
- Participate in incident response efforts and assist in implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Support compliance with Central Bank of UAE regulations and other relevant standards.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and service providers to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and standard procedures.
- Contribute to IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, automation initiatives, and new technology implementations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
Experience:
- 2–4 years in IT operations, IT support, or a similar technical support role
- Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude may also be considered
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS environments
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and virtualization is a plus
