We are on the lookout for a Scrum Master to support highly skilled Data Science and Deployment teams by enabling collaboration, improving visibility, and ensuring smooth delivery across organizational boundaries. This role is facilitative, coordination-focused, and service-oriented. You will not own product strategy or technical design, but you will ensure teams have clarity, alignment, and momentum with minimal friction.

Responsibilities

  • Agile Facilitation & Team Enablement.
    • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Support lightweight quarterly planning and roadmap alignment.
    • Coach teams on Agile best practices while respecting existing team maturity.
  • Cross-Team Coordination.
    • Act as a primary coordination point between:
      • AI/ML modeling teams.
      • Deployment / DevOps teams.
    • Proactively surface dependencies, risks, and timing concerns.
    • Ensure requesting and dependent teams remain aligned on expectations and timelines.
  • Delivery Transparency & Flow.
    • Maintain delivery visibility through Jira boards, dashboards, and reports.
    • Support backlog organization, epic hygiene, and story readiness.
    • Help teams avoid blockers, surprises, and delivery gaps.
  • Stakeholder Communication.
    • Partner with Product Managers, Analysts, and Technical Leads to keep communication clear and timely.
    • Facilitate discussions to resolve misalignment or dependency conflicts.
    • Occasionally support reporting or demo coordination for business stakeholders.
  • Tools & Documentation.
    • Maintain Jira hygiene (filters, dashboards, backlog cleanup).
    • Support Confluence documentation and team knowledge organization.
    • Assist PMs with KPI data collection or reporting when needed.
Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead.
  • Strong experience coordinating work across multiple technical teams.
  • Advanced Jira experience (dashboards, filters, backlog management).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to operate in complex enterprise environments with minimal authority.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Data Science, Analytics, or AI/ML teams.
  • Understanding of AI/ML delivery lifecycle and deployment dependencies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and cloud-based delivery concepts.
  • Prior large-enterprise experience.
  • SAFe or Agile certifications (nice to have, not required).

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
