The problems they solve around energy efficiency, security, and sustainability are complex and full of trade-offs, which makes the engineering work both meaningful and technically demanding.

Since 2023, SoftServe has been collaborating with this client across ML engineering, Big Data, IoT, Android and iOS development, frontend and backend engineering, test automation, ISO compliance, and project management. We are building scalable, high-quality solutions that power the next generation of connected homes.

IF YOU ARE

  • Senior IOS Engineer with 7+ years of professional experience developing mobile applications using Swift
  • Experienced in developing modern IOS interfaces using SwiftUI
  • Comfortable working with MVVM architecture and designing scalable, maintainable solutions in large codebases
  • Proficient in asynchronous programming, including Async/Await and Combine
  • Familiar with dependency injection practices
  • Confident with writing and maintaining automated tests using XCTests or Swift Testing
  • Skilled in working with CI/CD pipelines and mobile build tooling, such as Fastlane and CircleCI
  • Collaborative in contributing high-quality code while actively participating in code reviews and architectural discussions
  • Adaptable to working in a customer-owned environment, aligned with EST time zone
  • Self-sufficient, responsible, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership
  • Capable of communicating in English freely in a multicultural environment
  • Knowledgeable about IoT devices, video streaming, or connected ecosystems (is not a must)

  • Build and evolve a modern iOS application that serves as the gateway to a smart home ecosystem, enabling control and insights for thermostats, cameras, sensors, and security features
  • Contribute to both new feature development and continuous improvement of existing functionality across mobile applications
  • Work in a large-scale production environment where your contributions directly impact millions of users
  • Participate actively in Agile team activities, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and domain experts to craft high-quality, customer-focused features
  • Provide thoughtful code reviews and contribute to maintaining strong engineering standards
  • Ramp up quickly and contribute across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Take ownership of initiatives and see your work directly impact real users in their daily lives
