Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of web applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, and other developers) to plan, design, and implement features.
  • Building efficient, scalable, and secure code for web applications.
  • Creating and consuming RESTful APIs to integrate different systems and services.
  • Implementing and managing databases and data storage solutions.
  • Ensuring the responsiveness and usability of applications across different devices and platforms.
  • Debugging and resolving issues, identifying and fixing performance bottlenecks.
  • Conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining coding standards.
  • Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and applying them to projects when appropriate.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Around 4 or more years of IT work experience
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Familiar with back-end development such as Python, Ruby, PHP, or JavaScript (Node.js).
  • Experience with back-end frameworks like Django, Ruby on Rails, Laravel, or Express.js.
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL, as well as experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Understanding of web architecture, protocols, and security principles.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a focus on writing clean, maintainable code.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and deployment tools like AWS, Azure, or Heroku is a plus
