Mission

The General Accounting and Reporting Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely management of accounting and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and supporting business decisions.

Main Responsibilities

Accounting & Reporting

• Preparation and recording of adjusting entries for monthly closing reporting (by local and IFRS gap.
• Prepare and submit Management monthly Reporting Package (Syrus)
• Review of reconciliations for statutory and IFRS accounts.
• Knowledge and application of IFRS16 accounting principles.
• Preparation and submission of annual statutory reporting and the monthly management reporting package (Syrus).
• Production of specific reports (Capex, additional disclosures such as headcount and lease commitments).
• Management of annual accounting external audit and fiscal audits by authorities.

Financial Analysis

• Gross margin analysis by Cost Center.
• Operating expense analysis by store.

Control, Compliance & Collaboration

• Implementation and strengthening of systems and procedures to enhance financial control and compliance.
• Close collaboration with internal and external suppliers.

Profile

• 4-7 years’ experience
• Degree in accounting, finance, or other related discipline, with prior experience in financial reporting
• Ability to give detailed attention to projects
• Exceptional proficiency working with Excel
• Proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Word, Access, Excel, and other Microsoft Office Applications
• Experience with SAP and Stealth
• Strong communication skills
• Strong knowledge and skills in performing financial analysis, as well as in problem solving
• Energetic and motivated, and the ability to work with deadlines.
• Knowledge of IFRS standards
• Fluent in English is required
