People & Culture Generalist
Location: Dublin West (Onsite with occasional travel to multi sites )
Job Type: Full-Time | 3 month Contract with potential to extend
Salary: €50,000 pro rata
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently partnering with a leading Irish organisation to recruit a People & Culture Generalist to join their HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, operational environment and wants strong exposure to employee relations and generalist HR activities.
As a People & Culture Generalist, you will support the day-to-day delivery of HR operations across a multi-site environment, managing employee relations cases, supporting managers on people matters and ensuring HR processes are compliant and effectively maintained. This role will also involve maintaining HR systems and supporting ongoing improvements to HR processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, investigations and performance processes
- Provide HR advice and guidance to managers on employee matters, policies and procedures
- Prepare formal HR documentation including investigation letters, outcomes, warnings and contractual amendments
- Ensure consistent and compliant application of company policies and Irish employment legislation
- Support recruitment processes including interviews and onboarding activities
- Prepare employment contracts and employee lifecycle documentation
- Maintain HRIS records ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date
- Support HR reporting and identify trends across absence and employee relations data
- Assist with HRIS maintenance, process improvements and system improvements
- Act as a key HR contact supporting managers across multiple locations
About You
- Previous experience in a HR Generalist or HR Advisor role
- Strong employee relations experience with the ability to manage cases independently
- Good knowledge of Irish employment legislation
- Experience advising managers in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with HR systems
- Professional, confidential and solutions-focused approach
