Senior Network Engineer (IP/MPLS / Routing)

Location: Site based in Dublin 2

We’re hiring a Senior Network Engineer with strong IP networking fundamentals and deep hands-on experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting complex routed networks. If you’re the person people call when BGP gets weird, traffic paths don’t make sense, or a core change needs to be done safely—this one’s for you.

You will work in the Boarder team resposible for Traffic Migration on one of th largest networks in the world.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning and improving core IP network performance, stability, and resilience
• Troubleshooting complex routing and traffic-flow issues across large environments
• Working with enterprise/service-provider grade routing platforms and line cards
• Supporting network upgrades, migrations, and change activity with strong operational discipline
• Providing deep technical input on routing design, protocol behaviour, and best practice

What we’re looking for (must-have)

• Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience applying IP protocols in production
• Strong, proven experience with routing protocols—especially BGP and OSPF
• In-depth experience with major router platforms, specifically Cisco 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, 76xx (including compatible supervisory and line cards)
• Robust troubleshooting skills and strong network analysis fundamentals (you can isolate root cause, not just symptoms)
