About the role

StormGeo is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our ALMAP (Alfa Laval Marine Platform) team. You will contribute to a platform that helps optimize shipping operations by enabling real-time monitoring of onboard systems, analyzing fuel consumption, and supporting compliance with international emissions regulations.

As a Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive, user-centered, and visually engaging designs. Your expertise in user experience and interaction design will play an important role in improving the usability, efficiency, and overall user satisfaction of our software products.

📍 This position is based in Vilnius, or Kaunas, Lithuania.

Main Responsibilities

• Use Figma as the main design tool to create mockups and visual designs that effectively communicate the intended user experience and align with our brand identity.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
• Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and emerging design trends.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in UI/UX design, sharing knowledge and promoting design thinking within the organization.

Core Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Product Designer or similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of design projects.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Good understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Strong visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics, typography, and layout.
• Experience in conducting user research, surveys, and usability testing.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly present design decisions and adapt to feedback.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
