The CAD Designer will be a part of Engineering Team that will support mechanical engineering/mechatronics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of 3D models and assemblies according to specifications using the 3D CAD systems SolidWorks and Catia V5 for the mechanical engineering/mechatronics sector
- Derivation of standards-compliant individual part drawing and assembly drawings according to specifications using SolidWorks/Catia V5 for mechanical engineering/mechatronics products, also for international projects
- Transfer of CAD files to the PLM system Profile
- Creation and maintenance of bills of materials in the PLM system Profile and the integrated ERP system IFS
- Execution and monitoring of the change process for product modifications using Projektron/BCS
- Implementation of changes in existing projects/drawing sets
- Technical support for series production projects
- Technical support for purchasing, quality, and process management
Requirements:
-Vocational training: Technical Product Designer , CAD Designer
(Electronics knowledge would be an advantage)
- Experience in designing of mechatronic systems with 3D CAD Systems like SolidWorks and Catia V5
- Experience in PLM / ERP Software, ideally Profile and IFS
- Experience in MS Office 365
- English language skills, both spoken and written
- German language skills would be an advantage
- Structured work with a focus on quality
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment combined with communication skills with colleagues in the project teams
