GoLang Developer in Charlotte, NC / Denver, CO / St Louis, MO / Atlanta, GA / Tampa, FL

Job Description:

• Design and develop micro-services and APIs using the state of art methodology and Technologies
• Integrate with other microservices and full-stack; and automate the deployment of microservices.
• Develop and deliver automation software required for building & improving the functionality, reliability, availability, and manageability of applications.
• Ensure the quality, performance, robustness, and scalability of the services you implement
• Involve in all aspects of platform and services development and deployment
• Support Telemetry Software in all development and operational phases.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3-5 years of solid hands-on software development experience with a focus on writing Microservices in Golang (or any other language), along with continuous delivery and deployment, enterprise application development, cloud automation, and building a container-based platform
• Software programming experience in Golang is a must. At least 2+ year of Go programming experience.
• A proven track record with Docker containers with a deep understanding of the current container ecosystem and marketplace.
• Experience building applications using micro-services.
• Understanding of Software design patterns, SDLC, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team Player

Good to have Skills:

• Full stack knowledge and experience.
• Strong knowledge/experience in cloud technologies, orchestration and DevOps.
• SQL and NoSQL understanding and experience.
• Experience working with Messaging systems like AMQP, Kafka, other.
• Good Networking knowledge.
• Good Linux and SysAdmin knowledge
• Additional Nice to haves: hadoop, tsdb, elastic search ( ELK stack ) , kudu / impala, devops ( sysadmin),, networking knowledge
• Docker or Kubernetes
• Big Data or Cloud
