Position: Network Administrator

The Network Administrator will travel to various locations within the U.S. and Canada to support and troubleshoot network projects.

Position: Network Administrator
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network Administrator to join their team!
The Network Administrator will travel to various locations within the U.S. and Canada to support and troubleshoot network projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructures.
- Configure and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls and security appliances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and optimize performance.
- Conduct site surveys and on-site installations, ensuring adherence to best practices and company standards.
- Monitor network performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Prepare documentation, including network diagrams and configuration details.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.
- Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies.
- Strong experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate firewalls.
- Proficiency in networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for client engagements and project work.
- 100% remote, but must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
