About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer specializing in C#.NET to join our team and contribute to our mission of digitalizing the After-Sales processes in the leisure industry. In this role, you will work closely with key clients, understanding their requirements, and translating them into robust, scalable software solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing applications, developing new modules for our web portal, and ensuring seamless integration through APIs and microservices. Your expertise will help modernize legacy systems built on .NET 4.8 and WebForms, guiding them towards contemporary, efficient architectures. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from backend development and database management to system modernization, all within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification. You should have at least five years of practical experience in backend development using C#, ASP.NET, and T-SQL, demonstrating a strong ability to deliver high-quality software solutions. Familiarity with Azure DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and working with legacy systems for modernization projects is essential. Excellent communication skills in German and English (minimum C1 level) are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code. Additional skills such as MSSQL database administration, experience with Python or SciKit, hosting local large language models, mobile application development, and knowledge of Clean Code Architecture are highly desirable. Experience within the Caravan or After-Sales industry is a plus, but not mandatory.

- Refactor, maintain, and enhance existing software systems, including legacy code based on .NET 4.8 and WebForms.
- Design, develop, and operate microservices using C#, ASP.NET, and RESTful APIs to ensure scalable and reliable integrations.
- Engage in backend and database development tasks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Create and maintain interfaces between our systems and those of our clients, ensuring seamless data exchange.
- Participate in the modernization of legacy systems, gradually migrating them to modern architectures and technologies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes, including CI/CD pipelines, to streamline deployment and updates.
