We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to lead the design, optimization, and development of critical backend batch processes that power our core business operations.
This role involves working with technologies like C, Unix Shell scripting, and SQL while collaborating across teams to ensure reliable and efficient system performance.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to lead the design, optimization, and development of critical backend batch processes that power our core business operations.
This role involves working with technologies like C, Unix Shell scripting, and SQL while collaborating across teams to ensure reliable and efficient system performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust backend components and scripts for batch processing
- Optimize SQL queries and data workflows to enhance performance and reliability
- Monitor and troubleshoot batch executions to ensure seamless operations
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and operations teams for consistent data accuracy
- Contribute to environmental readiness and deployment processes
- Document technical workflows and maintain operational runbooks
- Mentor junior developers and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
- 6+ years of backend development experience working with C, Unix Shell scripting, and SQL
- Expertise in enterprise batch processing and scheduling frameworks
- Strong experience with Sybase or similar relational databases
- Understanding of messaging systems and deployment practices such as WAR on Tomcat
- Strong analytical and debugging capabilities
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent communication skills in English at a B2+ level
