Project Manager – Critical Environments (Telecommunications / Low Voltage / Fiber)

This role requires on-site support at project locations 4–5 days per week, depending on client needs. Project sites are located across Belgium, Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Qualifications for Success
Candidates should ideally bring:
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within telecommunications, low-voltage systems, or fiber optics construction
- A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in a construction-related discipline
- 1+ years managing critical environment construction projects (e.g., data centers, laboratories, hospitals)
- MEP experience in ground-up construction projects
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- An ambitious and proactive mindset, with a strong interest in construction and project management and the desire to grow within a dynamic and modern organisation
Role Overview
The Critical Environments team is a highly skilled and empowered group specialising in construction management for complex facilities such as data centres and hospitals. The team is trusted by clients to help deliver large-scale, high-impact projects successfully.
Working as an owner’s representative, the Project Manager supports clients by explaining complex issues, managing conflicts, and advising on matters outside the owner’s core expertise. The role focuses on ensuring clients can make informed decisions that keep projects on schedule and within scope and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-visibility, career-building construction projects
- Play an integral role within the team, mentoring colleagues and providing leadership
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget
- Independently manage full project scopes while contributing to wider programmes
- Work autonomously and take ownership of project delivery
- Build strong client relationships and maintain the client’s vision as a trusted partner
- Lead project risk management, contingency planning, and recovery planning for schedule and budget
- Conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments
- Manage construction programmes involving fiber optic systems and low-voltage telecom/security infrastructure in data centre environments
- Anticipate risks and proactively solve complex project and team challenges
