Altis Recruitment is seeking a motivated and adaptable Human Resources Generalist to join a respected organization within the engineering and professional services space. Your Responsibilities

  • You will support employees across Canada, ensuring a consistent and positive HR experience.
  • In this role, you will coach managers on leadership development, performance management, employee engagement, and change initiatives.
  • You will partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to develop recruitment strategies and support hiring activities, including co-op cycles.
  • You will contribute to the design and delivery of HR programs such as onboarding, orientation, performance reviews, and engagement initiatives.
  • You will ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal HR policies across multiple regions.
  • You will conduct workplace investigations with fairness, sound judgment, and professionalism.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • CHRP or CPHR designation, or currently in progress, is considered an asset.
  • Experience developing and implementing HR programs across diverse teams.
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
