Project Management & Delivery

• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of cloud and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring adherence to banking security, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations with precision.
• Drive day-to-day project execution including workshops, engineering activities, vendor coordination, and delivery tracking.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within approved budgets.

Banking and Regulatory Expertise

• Ensure projects comply with banking regulations such as UAE central bank guidelines, PCI DSS, and other relevant standards.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, cybersecurity, business units, and risk management, to align project objectives with banking priorities.
• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads and essential employees, to secure their support and buy-in for infrastructure projects.
• Regularly communicate project progress, roadblocks, and achievements to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Technical Leadership

• Provide direction to engineering teams on technical requirements, design constraints, and project scope boundaries.
• Review solutions, architecture documents, and change requests to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Risk, Quality and Resource Management:

• Identify, track, and mitigate risks across technology, schedule, and regulatory domains.
• Ensure delivery quality through robust testing, documentation, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage internal and external resources to optimize utilization and performance.

Technical Expertise

• Proven experience delivering projects such as technology refresh, modernization & new platforms implementations in Tech infrastructure landscape.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure domains: data center, network, servers, storage, virtualization, identity & access management, and cybersecurity alignment.
• Experience coordinating with architects and engineering teams.

Project Management

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years overall IT experience, with at least 6+ years leading large-scale technology projects.
• Proficiency in Project Manageemnt Tooling, and O365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong understanding of project governance frameworks (PMO, SDLC, Agile/Waterfall).
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing:
• Detailed project plans or Agile scrum plans
• RAID logs
• Governance decks
• Budget and resource plans
• Stakeholder communication plans
