Overview

We are seeking a CRM Data Analyst to support a key data quality and automation initiative within a global asset management environment. This role focuses on reconciling external datasets with CRM records and producing clean, enriched datasets ready for system upload.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with imperfect data sources, using Excel and structured logic to produce accurate and repeatable outcomes. This role offers high visibility across multiple business groups and the opportunity to contribute to improving enterprise data quality practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile external datasets with CRM records to identify accurate matches and discrepancies.
• Perform data reconciliation, deduplication, and quality validation across multiple data sources.
• Utilize advanced Excel techniques (XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, fuzzy matching) to automate data matching processes.
• Investigate ambiguous data cases and apply logical rules to determine the most accurate matches.
• Document data matching rules, assumptions, and workflows to ensure repeatability and auditability.
• Prepare clean, enriched datasets ready for CRM upload.
• Maintain a clear audit trail and data documentation.
• Support overall CRM data hygiene by ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across records.

Core Technical Skills

Required

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, CRM Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Advanced Excel skills including:
• XLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH
• Power Query
• Fuzzy matching
• Experience with data reconciliation, deduplication, and data quality validation.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate matching logic and data processes.
• Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
• Solid understanding of data quality management practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Experience working in Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Financial Services environments.

Preferred

• Experience with data integration or ETL processes.
• Exposure to financial services or banking data environments.

Nice to Have

• Basic Python (Pandas) scripting skills.
• Ability to write basic SQL queries.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage ambiguous data scenarios.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work across multiple business teams.

Education

• Post-secondary education in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
