ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a visionary and high-octane Head of Technology & Product/CTO to lead our technical strategy and product roadmap. This is a hybrid leadership role designed for a "builder-leader" who is as comfortable defining high-level product strategy for global banks as they are overseeing the implementation of AI-driven development workflows and Web3 protocols. You will be the bridge between client business needs and our engineering output, ensuring that Techtanium stays at the cutting edge of AI and blockchain innovation while maintaining the rigorous standards required by the financial services industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Product Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the product roadmap for Techtanium’s proprietary solutions and client consulting projects, ensuring alignment with market trends in fintech, AI, and Web3.
• Technology Leadership: Lead our engineering and product teams in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures. Foster a culture of excellence in agile development.
• AI & Web3 Innovation: Spearhead the integration of Generative AI and decentralized technologies (DeFi, Smart Contracts, Digital Identity) into traditional financial workflows.
• Client Solutioning: Act as a strategic advisor to C-suite clients at major financial institutions, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business value.
• AI-Enhanced Development: Evangelize and implement AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) within the engineering team to 10x development speed and code quality.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of products, from initial market research and specs to launch and post-release performance monitoring.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure all products and solutions adhere to strict financial regulations (KYC, AML, GDPR) and risk management standards across Asian and international jurisdictions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 5–10 years of professional experience in technology leadership or product management roles, with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling tech products.
• Fintech Expertise: Deep understanding of the financial services landscape, including core banking, digital wallets, or wealth management.
• Specialized Technical Background (AI or Web3): A very strong background in either AI or Web3 is required. This includes hands-on experience with Web3 protocols (Ethereum, L2s, Solidity) OR practical experience deploying AI/ML solutions (LLMs, RAG architectures, or Agentic AI).
• AI Coding Mastery: Familiarity with AI-native coding environments and assistants. You should be able to demonstrate how AI can be used to accelerate the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Methodology: Expert-level knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks and the ability to manage rapid iteration cycles in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Leadership: Strong team management skills with a focus on mentoring high-performing, cross-functional teams of developers and designers.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

SKILLS PREFERRED

• Prior experience in Digital Banking or Payment Systems (ISO 20022, Swift, real-time payment rails).
• Experience in a top-tier technology consulting firm.
• Existing network within the Asian fintech and banking ecosystem.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/GCP Solutions Architect, Certified Blockchain Professional).
