About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Scientist to support data analysis, reporting, and basic machine learning initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals starting their career in data science who want to gain hands-on experience working with datasets, analytics tools, and data-driven projects.

You will work with experienced data professionals to analyze data, build models, and generate insights that help teams make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from different sources
• Support the development of basic machine learning models and statistical analysis
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights
• Work with teams to understand data requirements and business problems
• Perform data quality checks and maintain datasets
• Document data analysis processes and findings
• Stay updated with modern data science tools and techniques

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
• Familiarity with SQL for querying databases
• Understanding of statistics and data analysis concepts
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib
• Basic knowledge of data cleaning and preprocessing techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn or TensorFlow
• Experience using Jupyter Notebook or similar environments
• Exposure to data analysis projects or academic research
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms or big data tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Entry-level candidates, recent graduates, or individuals with relevant coursework or projects are encouraged to apply
