We are seeking a Technical Consultant - Data Engineer Expert to provide consultancy services for Data Engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) implementation projects on Microsoft Azure, with a focus on data ingestion, storage, processing, and security.

- Provision of technical consultancy services for Data Engineering projects.
- Strong technological competence in Business Intelligence (BI) implementation projects in Microsoft Azure.
- Analysis, design, and implementation of data ingestion, data storage, data processing, and data security in the cloud (Microsoft Azure).
- Management and monitoring of data ingestion, storage, and processing.
- Development and maintenance of data storage, processing, and security according to best practices.
- Participation and interaction in technical working groups and meetings with project teams, developers, stakeholders, and non-expert users.
- Draft and review technical and functional/non-functional specifications in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and Operations teams.
- Actively participate in technical discussions with project teams, developers, stakeholders, and non-technical users.
- Bachelor or equivalent degree of at least 3 successful years of post-high school education in Data Science (EQF level 6), OR
- 2 years of professional experience for each missing year of required studies, in addition to the experience listed below.
- Very good knowledge of English (Level C1 – Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including:
- 8 years working in the Business Intelligence field.
- 5 years on Microsoft Azure.
- Proven experience in:
- BI for process-driven applications.
- Data Governance frameworks or equivalent.
- Azure Security guidelines.
